Born in 1983 (Constanta, Romania), Andrei Costache graduated with a MA in Sculpture at Slade School of Fine Art, UCL, London, UK. His art is like a jelly belly machine - incorporating warping with a Renoir aesthetic. A hyperreal fantasy where the electric jigsaw is his brush and the spray paint his palette. Taking inspiration from classical paintings and expressing it in a modern personal manner, his work is all about the childlike, ghosts, eroticism and morphosis.
