Lari Rafaila

Lari Rafaila (b. Romania), a graduate of the National University of Arts in Bucharest, explores the dynamics of human relationships, intimacy, and emotional distance through fragmented compositions, in which light and warm–cold contrasts become narrative tools. The characters, often captured in tight frames or through various visual mediations (windows, lenses, reflections), reveal states of projection, reverie, or disconnection, shaping a visual universe on the threshold between the real and the oneiric, closely aligned with the aesthetics of cinematic imagery.
